research and planning- shooting on location

When organising to shoot on location we need to think about the cast, the safety of equipment and our time management. to help us with this we constructed a table with the times we were going to shoot and what we need on location.
The safety of our camera equipment is one of our biggest concerns as it is borrowed. The location we are most worried about is on the tube, but we have come up with practical ways to ensure the cameras safety. For example we have a zip up bag that we can store the camera and tripod in when we're not filming, to protect the equipment from both weather and potential theft. We have to think about all the costume and props and make sure the camera battery is always fully charged in order to ensure that the days filming can run smoothly and not be interrupted by any unnecessary means.
Our biggest problem we had when first planning our locations is we needed to get special permission and insurance from TFL to film on the tube. We emailed the Media department for TFL and applied for filming permission.
